I always say, “That’s so you!” is the best compliment. Probably because—on the surface—I’m a little bit hard to pin down. (Think: multi-hyphenate to the max.)
If I were an animal, I’d probably be an octopus. Curious, playful, smart, and have my hands in a little bit of everything.
In my first-ever job interview, I won over the team with my ability to debate real industry dynamics and Real Housewives.
Over more than a decade, I worked my way into becoming a Fortune 500 Creative lead, doing work and leading teams I loved. Yet, I left and got my MBA.
Writer? ✓ Journalist? ✓ Strategist? ✓ Business owner? ✓ Artist? ✓ Head of Brand? ✓ Former accounting tutor? ✓ I’ve worn all those hats—and have the hair to show for it.
Some people call it “complicated” or “indecisive.” I call it an “N of 1.” Because it’s totally me.
And I’m on this planet to help more brands, people, and places define their “Why” and show up as a layered, complex, fascinating, multifaceted, N-of-1 presence in a world saturated with “growth hacking” slop and “industry best practice” beige that will… slowly (or quickly) sink you.
